Custom size door - 72.5 X 40 Inches
By trade I am just a smart computer nerd. I am no carpenter and didn't even take wood shop in highschool. I always have been really good at figuring stuff out though and if you have the right tools you can do anything. Just remember, the internet is your friend. One site in particular I've used in the past and this job was http://www.hammerzone.com
It is a great website for HandyManlyNess!...

Anyway, here is my custom door project.

Bathroom has been remodeled
Just finished the remodel on the bathroom yesterday.
Turned out great. Had my two cousins (Dave and Gary) come down from Ashtabula to tackle this project.
It turned out to be a very nice bathroom. We gutted it down to studs and rebuilt it brand new.

I got the DRZ back together today and decided to take it out with my new helmet camera.

Here is a short clip.

The Kawasaki Kid
Went to Wayne National forest this past Saturday and rode with my usual crew of Jeff and Budman. We got to break in a new guy on his 2002 Kawasaki KDX 220.

My friend Brian who did the artwork for the Geekempire logo finally got a dirt bike and he finally got to go riding with me. The trails were really slick and probably not the easiest for a beginners first time but we had fun and a few wipe outs. The good thing is I just got my new helmet camera.

The CountourHD is a great camera. It is small and compact. The battery lasts about 3 hours and I have a 16GB memmory card in it which holds a ton of video.
I have some highlights of crashes here:

Hayden's First Car
Now that she turned 9 months old, I decided it was time to get her a car. After walking around the dealership inside Walmart I found the perfect one. It seems very reliable and gets excellent gas mileage. Now I just need to stop her from drinking and driving.

Tulum Mexico
I just got back home from Tulum Mexico. I was there for a week with my wife for a wedding. The weather was hot and humid but overall it was pretty sunny. The water was nice and blue but the beaches were rocky. We spent most of the time at the two pools in the Dreams Resort. The resort itself was gated off so it was private and all inclusive, didn't have to pay for a thing. The only gripe I have with the place is that they kept running out of beer on a daily basis. We also went to see some ruins in Tulum which where pretty cool. There were lots of lizards running around and we just fed them some flowers. I did an Extreme Tour where I went zip lining, rappelling and snorkeling in a fresh water cave.

Mac Vs. PC

Before I begin my rant, I have three computers all running different operating systems:  Windows Vista 64bit, Ubuntu 8.10 64bit and OSX Leopard. So my judgment isn’t all that biased.

To me the entire marketing scheme makes no technical sense what so ever (Mac Vs. PC). I would also like to note that the arguments of the late 90's make no sense either. All that I gather from these ads and from the mouths of people that own an Apple computer is that most of them are pretty much a bunch of idiots that have no idea what they are talking about.

Let’s start off with this: a Mac is a PC. In case you didn't know, PC doesn't stand for politically correct, it stands for Personal Computer. Apple even said they made the world’s fastest PC on June 23, 2003.

Ok, now that we have summed up that a Mac is a PC then you cannot compare a Mac to a PC. That would be like comparing a Horse to an Animal. (Horse Vs. Animal), it makes absolutely no sense. Ok now let’s step back in time a little more. In the 1990’s, computers that ran DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, etc.; were referred to as IBM Computers, IBM Compatibles or IBM Clones.  The funny part about this is that the brains of the Mac was an IBM processor and the brain of the IBM computers where mostly Intel with some AMD thrown in. So we should have been calling the Mac an IBM Computer.

Ok now let’s fast forward to 2006 and basically to present time: Apple transitions to Intel. If Apple hardware is so superior to the hardware that Microsoft Windows is ran on, why are they using it now? Again a reason why the Mac Vs. PC argument makes no sense.

The commercial should stop confusing stupid Americans.  All computers crash, lockup, and catch on fire. The argument isn’t about the hardware it’s about two operating systems: OSX vs. Windows Vista.

In the end the Apple logo isn’t going to save you, but it might make you a little gay.

Painting Sux
We decided its time to paint our house. We just can't stand to look at the ugly green. The color we picked out was supposed to be more of an olive color, but it pretty much just looks brown. The concrete block is painted a dark brown.
We got half of the house painted in one day.

French Doors
Slowly but surely, I am converting my basement garage into basement livable space. I eventually want to build an external garage. Things take money and it doesn't grow on trees. I got one side of my garage converted to french doors.

My Dell Mini 9
I decided to get my self a new laptop, or you could say Netbook. It is a Dell Mini 9. They call it the 9 for the 9 inch screen. It has a resolution of 1024x600.
I got this unit from the dell outlet store. This is a refurbished unit. It has an Intel 1.6ghz Atom Processor, 512MB of ram and a 4GB Solid State Disk Drive (SSD). It comes preloaded with ubuntu 8.04 on it. I got it for $189 bucks. I ordered 2GB of memmory and a 32GB SSD from newegg for another $109 bucks but it hasn't arrived yet (should be here tomorrow). Lots of people load Mac OSX on these little guys. I may do the same, but who knows.

Japanese Motard Fenders
I ordered front and rear fenders off the Japanese only version of the XR400 SM that can only be purchased in Japan. Forest from Wheeling Cycle Supply was able to get them for me... but they were not cheap. $160 bucks for the the front and back fender. I think it looks good though.

Added a little style to the XR
I decided to add a few things to my $800 XR400 to make it look better and some protection. I've added an SDG tall seat, new number plate graphics, a CRF front fonder, a DG skid plate, some new Spyder grips and some wider footpegs I found on Ebay.

I am still looking to change the rear fender to white, then the bike will be back to its original color.

Kick Ass Video Game
The original first series Max Payne was hands down 4 banana's out of 5.
I had a great time playing that game.

Marky Mark played the perfect Max Payne. He resembles the fictional video game character well.
Who cares about that . the story sucked... 2.5 banana's is all i give it.

Category 7: The End of the World

This movie came in the mail last night from Netflix. So after I fed my kid I popped it into the Blu-Ray Player. This movie is filled with a ton of familiar faces but the story line, the acting and the special effects have all the tall tell signs of a Made for TV movie.

It is kind of hard for me to give you a full review of this move because I fell asleep watching it. Myself and my 4 month old daughter were so excited neither one of us could keep our eyes open.

I rate this movie two banana's

Sold my 4 Wheeler
I've owned my 2002 Honda 400ex about 3 years and I just wasn't riding it much. Most of my friends that I go riding with all ride dirt bikes so I found myself always riding my dirt bikes instead of the quad.

It was a nice quad and ran great. These things are bullet proof. I hope the new owner will have more fun with it than I did.

The Cracken and the XR400
This Picture was taken October 31st down at Wayne National Forest in front of an old cave. I just bought that Honda XR400 a couple weeks ago and this was the first time I got to take the motorcycle out. The bike is definately a lot lighter than riding my Suzuki DRZ400.

First Post for 2008
I am sure I am like a lot of you right now. Scrambling around getting ready for the 2007 Taxes to get turned into your accountants.

I got all kinds of crazy crap going on right now.... besides home improvements and what not. My hosting company is rolling out its new hosting platform and I am going to have to move about 300 websites to it. My guess is it will take me about 6 months.

But anyway.... back to work.

Panaman out.

GUTS and BALLS
We've all heard about  people having guts or balls. But do you really know the difference between them? In an effort to keep you informed, the definition for each is listed below...

GUTS - is arriving home late after a night out with the guys, being met by your wife with a
broom
, and having the guts to ask: "Are you still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere?"

BALLS - is coming home late after a night out with the guys, smelling of perfume and beer,
lipstick on your collar
, slapping your wife on the butt and having the balls to say:  "You're next."

Got a brand new set of stickers for my new trail rider

Got to ride the beast too! The thing is mean. It wants to go about 100 mph every where i go. Also the scott grips i put on the bike suck.... getting replaced ASAP. I also have an 11oz flywheel coming to hopefully tame this beast

Bike number 4

Just picked my self up a new toy. Its a 2001 Suzuki RM250. I am going to make this my new trail bike.

I had to dump a couple hundred into it for bars and some other maintenance stuff but all and all its in pretty good shape. I will be testing it out this coming saturday at Wayne National Forest.

Installed my 114cc BBK on friday
With the help of Adam Tonn, We installed my big bore kit friday on my pitbike.
Its up to 114cc and rocks.

We installed a boyesen ignition cover and a 22mm Mikuni carb. But I think the throttle cable is to short so we had to put the stock carb back on. With the after market H-Bomb exhaust it pops quite a bit on deceleration. Once I get my new throttle cable for the mikuni i will install that and see if that fixes that problem.. but all and all it runs great. and the new ignition cover looks awesome.

You can see more pictures of the upgrade here:

More BBK Upgrade Pics

Anyway.. just want to thank Adam Tonn for all the help and letting me play on his pitbike track.

Poop Infraction

New Look for my stupid site
Well, I finally got around to making a new look for my personal site. (my personal site of basicly nothing but bull shit) Didn't take me too long. At least it doesn't look like a 5 year old made it any more.

Rode my pit bike on an indoor MX track
Last night I took my pit bike up to Ram Jam's up in the Cleveland area.

Had a good time, got to meet some new riders.
The track was nice and easy to ride on a pit bike. I didn't try jumping any of the big jumps, I just rolled over them.
After riding there though, I think I need to get a better rear shock.

Even though the track was indoors it was still cold riding on the track.
It was nice that they had a concession stand where you could get hot chocolate and food.
My stupid ass some how brought my camera and forgot my battery on the charger at home, so no pictures from me of the event.
But this guy took a bunch of pics..

Dead Volvo
A couple weeks ago I crashed my S60 Volvo 2.4T on the icey roads here in Columbus.

I have owned this car for 2 months. I hit the vehicle in front of me at about 15 mph. Air bags didn't deploy or anything.
To day I found out that my Insurance company is going to total out the vehicle.
Now I have to rush and figure out how to get my after market stereo and sirius satellite system out of the car in the next 2 days.
